Eurojack Jihlava 2012
On 15. and 16. June 2013 the Czech Republic will host for the second time a race from the prestigious Eurojack competition.
Eurojack is the European lumberjack series with a long time tradition. The oldest race takes place for 34 years!
Eurojack is the largest lumberjack series in Europe!
The event will take place in the "Malý Heulos" premisses in Jihlava. The premisses are in the near surroundings of the Jihlava city center and also the Zoo.
On Saturday the qualification will take place and around thirty competitors from 6 countries are expected to attend. During the Sunday finals visitors will see the currently ranked top 10 sportsmen accompanied by the ten best from the Saturday qualification. Visitors will have the opportunity to see an exciting competition with 20 top sportmen competing for the second victory in the Czech Republic.
The Czech Eurojack race receives a lot of support form the City of Jihlava. At the competition premisses visitors will not only see the Eurojack race. The City of Jihlava together with the Eurojack organisers have prepared a concert for Saturday evening and during the whole weekend the small beer breweries festival will take place.
Based on the experience from last year, based on experience from races in ohter countries and based on the fact that the European Vice-Champion David Síla is a local competitor, we expect to host 3 to 5 thousand spectators.
